LTD was tasked with subdividing two large adjacent sites to create four beautiful homes. Our goal was to create a cohesive facade that elegantly tied the buildings together and made them read as a whole instead of having strong divisions or different designs for the individual houses. The clients were not afraid to be ambitious with the design, which allowed the team to develop a facade with a unique modern composition and brick detailing that feels almost ribbon-like. The interiors of the home are centered around an airy floating steel that brings daylight to each level, including the entrance. Efficient planning and a vertical organization create unique urban living conditions that feel bright and open and connected despite their small footprint.
